  • The EMI is a tool to develop entrepreneurial awareness and build upon the entrepreneurial skills and behaviors that instill career readiness by measuring mastery in eight core domains. NFTE’s EMI is a largely reliable and valid instrument to measure entrepreneurial mindset. Working with researchers at the Educational Testing Service (ETS) and with support from EY, NFTE identified the eight domains as critical to entrepreneurial thinking. The eight domains are captured with Likert items (questions that ask students to self-report agreement) and Situational Judgement Tests (questions that ask students to respond to a real-world scenario that is tied to a domain).

  • 20 SEL items aligning directly to CASEL competencies, 10 Emotional Behavioral Health Items, and 5 Stress items. Takes 7-8 minutes to complete. • The Academic Competence Evaluation Scales (ACES)--soon to be rebranded as the Academic Competence System (ACS)--are a suite of assessments that proactively assess students' social, behavioral, and academic skills in order to identify students who need intervention and help teachers serve students according to their needs.

  • The ISSAQ Student Survey is an assessment that measures first year college students’ noncognitive skills in order to identify strengths and challenges that are indicative of student success beyond traditional academic measures (e.g., test scores and class rank).
